"And I Will Paint", Oil on Canvas, 24" X 30", 2010This is a self-portrait during a coming cataclysm. I don’t know if the tidal wave or the fires will get me first. I only know that I’m going to paint, even when the world crumbles around me.

Birth of an Idea, 2001, Oil on canvasThe act of creation, by its very nature, is a process of creating a new 'life.' The artist puts a bit of himself in each piece he creates. Even when the artist is long gone, the artwork will live on. Each painting I create is like one of my children.
Creation #2, 2002, Oil on canvasThe universe is the single most intricate piece of art ever
created.
Rebuild, 2001, Oil on canvasThis piece was created in response to the tragedy of 9-11.
I have witnessed spiders rebuild their webs in a matter of hours after
they were completely destroyed. As an artist, I tried to harbor a
more creative attitude that was more about rebuilding a better, stronger
America, rather than the destructive attitude of war and revenge.
